Ok. I'll just come out and say it, that therapist doesn't know what the hell he's talking about and I don't mean to be discouraging, but you're basically wasting your time and money. I've done some pretty useless therapies when I was younger that involved a lot of reading and breathing and it just isn't helpful (this one especially so). You might speak more fluently with him in therapy, but when you get outside and try to talk in your normal life you go back to stuttering like normal, am I right? I don't know where you are from. If you live in the ME, you might have more limited options but either way, going to therapy like that isn't going to help. That money would be better spent sending you abroad to some kind of reputable program or trying to find another therapist who actually understands stuttering therapy.
