In junior high, I did a presentation over The Outsiders, which I really liked, and ended up stuttering terribly throughout the whole thing. I already felt stupid during my presentation, but felt worse when I sat back down at my desk and a kid told me that a lot of our classmates were laughing and making jokes about my stuttering. At least I aced the assignment, but my confidence took a toll.
