This is very classic blocking and I bet many here have a very close experience to yours. It can help immensely to understand why you struggle to tell others your address, phone number, and probably names, including your own. Your brain learned years ago, possibly as early as age 3, that your repetitions were so “weird” that you needed to eradicate them. You put so much effort into doing this and had so much fear about being “weird”, you probably unintentionally initiated something called a Valsalva Maneuver, which blocks airflow (normal speaking). You’d come to a block but would get around it by changing what you say, and that “works” most of the time. Problem is, there’s no alternative to your address. So, your block is even bigger on words/phrases that have no alternative. If left unchecked, it’s possible that the blocking will transfer to words that merely begin with the same sounds you struggle on. For example, if your address starts with an F, you may begin struggling to say other F words. I’ve recently written a post here touching on many of your points, including tangible ways to develop habits to reduce these problems. Ultimately, the goal is to reduce the avoiding.
