Also, my stuttering manifests mostly in blocking. I just don't talk too much when I'm being really disfluent. I think many woman sutterers will agree is gets worse depending on the time of the month. I don't work a job that requires talking on the phone. I'm a writer. So, I'm kind of lucky that my public speaking is pretty minimal these days. It takes people longer to realize I have a speech issue. But I will admit my stuttering has improved a great deal since college.
