>My hypothesis is that a decent psilocybin dose combined with 2-3 hours of choral reading during the trip could strengthen/repair or even create new speech related pathways along with having some positive emotional effects due to experiencing extended fluency even if it’s just brought on by choral reading? [In this post](https://www.reddit.com/r/Stutter/comments/y4apcf/tips_to_speak_with_less_stuttering_choral_speech/) I propose a helpful exercise for chorally and synchronically speaking. [This research](https://www.reddit.com/r/Stutter/comments/xq5f4v/what_are_your_thoughts_on_this_research_choral/) (2022) states that when stutterers speak fluently during choral speech, we don't have differences in the brain between stutterers and non-stutterers - unlike when we speak fluently when alone. This could lead to the conclusion that, if we speak alone, that we are still monitoring, evaluating and intervening in order to speak fluently, whereas if we speak chorally, we are so focused on the speech timing and rhythm and listener's voices, that we stop negatively evaluation our own speech, stop reacting to our anticipatory fear and stop doing unhelpful intervention. The positive effect of choral speech is that our right-hemisphere doesn't become over-active.
