As a man who was at the age of 3 and now 34 still with the speech impediment. Worst thing is to panic and please be patient and tender when he tries to speak or habe any retention. There is no cure all speech therapist unfortunately. Speech therapy is building blocks to improve your speech. His life will be different but doesn't mean bad. Be there love and support him through his journey.
