Stuttering is either neurological or passed down from your family, stressful situations can very well increase disfluencies. Stuttering is variable and you can experience months of fluency and then stutter again, it varies. Personally, mine is very connected to stress and my environment. Stress can increase stuttering moments for sure! If you have any more questions I’m more than happy to help! I’m a PWS who’s going to school to be a speech pathologist.
