Totally agree with the root cause. It is 100% a sensitivity thing for me. HOW to apply this insight will depend on the individual, of course. I like to speak at a rhythm as though I'm singing. I take a breath and tap out a "one-two" beat in my head before saying my name on "three" during round table introductions (which I hate!!) I took singing lessons to help with my stutter. Thinking my thoughts instead of directly wrestling with my vocal chord has helped me speak my words on cue (and sing in tune). But in the end, nothing works unless I master the moment before I speak with calmness and confidence. On the one hand, stuttering is a powerful problem, but on the other hand, the solution is entirely in our heads and at our disposal.
