>What can we do to help her? Well, luckily for her, you've done everything right so far. You've recognized her problem and brought her to a speech-language pathologist (SLP) as soon as possible. The therapist is an SLP, right? Early intervention, which is what you're doing, is *the most important* thing to do. As for what you can do past this point, just continue being the supportive and patient parent that you are. You just have to wait; females who develop stuttering at this age are much more likely than males to spontaneously recover from it. Either way, you've done what you can so far.
