I stutter as well and have issues in interviews. Interviewers usually tell me to calm down. It's infuriating. I'm not nervous, I'm frustrated I can't talk normally. They talked about offering me the job and asked if I prefered to work alone. I told them no. I stutter, but I don't have social anxiety. They also asked if they could accomodate my stutter in any way, but I just said patience from people around me is all I need. They were pretty nice about it, but I didn't like that they assumed I like to work alone because I stutter. I like talking to people, even if I stutter. People definitely assume you're socially challenged because you stutter and that sucks. But anyway OP, how bad is your stutter? What types of jobs are you applying to?
