Not well to be honest, especially if they are unaware. Legally you are protected by anti-discrimination regs but it’s essentially up to you to advocate for yourself. If you stutter they just assume you’re a pushover. There’s channels to leapfrog the DS and go straight to a chaplain if you feel you’re being unfairly treated.
