I have a genuine question: why would you have children given the genetic likelihood that they will also have a stutter and have to encounter the hardships that you went through? Children don’t have a choice whether they get put in this world and sometimes as people with speech disorders on our worst days, I would never pass this condition onto to my enemy let alone my children. I am curious if knowing your children will stutter factored into your decision into having kids and how your wife feels about the situation.
