You could argue that the techniques we use to hide our stutter is somewhat acting. I’m sure Bruce Willis said that he never stuttered during roles because he was that focused on portraying the character. With that said, have you tried ‘acting’ on a day to day basis? Act as a character that is confident and doesn’t have a stutter. You say you want to be an actor so I bet you’d be good at it!
