Why do I stutter around my dad?

Why do I stutter around my dad? Okay to be clear I never had any speech therapy or speech problems as a kid. I always knew how to talk properly but recently I’ve noticed that I stutter around my dad. My dad was very abusive physically and emotionally when I was a kid. This type of discipline behavior is normalized in my culture and so as a kid I thought it was normal. It was only when I got older that people kept telling me that I was abused. I spoke with doctors, psychologists, therapists and psychiatrists who diagnose me with various conditions. I’ve noticed that when I’m trying to talk to my dad, I tend to have difficulty getting my thoughts together and produce proper speech. Sometimes I can’t even get the words out - my jaw tends to lock for a brief moment before I can say something and I’ve noticed it only occurs when I’m with my dad. This never happens when I’m talking to anyone else. Can someone possibly explain why it occurs or what I should do?
