I've worked a lot of retail and met a ton of different people in my 26 years, but only three who I've met that had a stutter. 1) Working at dining hall in college. One girl noticed my stutter and seemed surprised I was the cashier. 2) An older customer (in his 60's) at a small bicycle shop who came in asking for a couple parts. Super nice guy, and I wish he came back when I was still working there. 3) Advisor at a parts store who was about my age. Stopped him from apologizing about his speech with my own stutter, and his face lit right up! We're a small percentage of the population, but that's alright! You can always try to reach out to a local organization if you want to meet new people, as well. If you're in the US, [The National Stuttering Association](https://westutter.org/) has a guide to help find a chapter close to you.
