My stutter definitely has ups and downs also. It’s kinda like a sine curve. Interacting with strangers is probably the best way I’ve found to combat the social anxiety that comes with a stutter. As you become more comfortable with your stutter and with interacting with others, things begin to flow better. I’m currently also in a bad stuttering low. I find something that also helps me is reading aloud before bed. Helps you get into a flow when your speak. I inhale and exhale while saying a couple words, then repeat for 5-10 minutes. I definitely believe social anxiety is a large part of what causes us to stutter. I’m still trying to figure out how to combat this effectively. Pm me if u wanna chat or practice talking!
