Dude you can do it. I was in the US Marines, and I have a stutter, had it since I was born. I was in the infantry, where communication is key. It was hard but it's doable. If I could do it anyone can do it, even you can. If you are a good leader no one is going to pay attention to your stutter. Also, I was told the same thing as you. You can't listen to them. If you think you can make it, you it. You just have to believe that you can and it will work If you do continue to join, you have to get some tough skin because people will talk shit. In my experience most of it wasn't with bad intentions, it was mostly my guys making jokes. Which was fine with me as I joke about it too. If you have any questions ask them, I'll try to help
