My parents (specifically my dad) used to also hit me a lot when I didn’t do things correctly and I feel that contributed to my stutter. In a nutshell, I don’t think you necessarily caused your stutter I think your environment factors caused it, because stuttering isn’t someone that should come instantly it should develop. Also did your parents ever get mad at you when you said something wrong because my parents did and that also may have caused my stutter?
