My sons are all in their 30s (33 to 39). None of them stutter!! I did wonder if any of them would as there is an hereditary component to stuttering. I am so relieved they are all fluent. Our house was the hangout house when they were younger. In their teens I asked them if it embarrassed them when I stuttered around their friends and all 3 looked confused and said no and asked why they would be embarrassed! My youngest does a sweet thing, and now his wife does the same. If we're in a group and I'm having a block he'll come stand close to me and I'll squeeze his hand or touch his arm. It distracts me somehow and breaks the block, making it easier to say whatever it is I'm struggling with. I'm quite blessed.
