Kids for the most part can be total assholes. I found my small niche of friends that accepted me just fine. After I became an adult I realized in the real world, 99% of people don't care. The other 1%? Well I use my stutter as an asshole detector. If I'm not worth their time to hear me out, they're not worth my time in my life.
