Nope. People can employ different coping strategies that may or may not work for them in certain situations. Some coping strategies work for awhile and then fail. Some coping strategies work for some people and are ineffective for others. Coping strategies are like short people wearing shoes to make them look taller. It's false and the short person wearing lifts in their shoes still feels inadequate and false as they feel others are judging them for being too short. Bending over backwards to hide your stutter is the same thing: you will always feel inadequate because you are working hard to measure up to some lofty ideal of what you think a fluent person sounds like.
