"I can tell they don't like it one bit, the expressions I get from them just tells the entire story." That speaks volumes. I feel like people who stutter are more sensitive to the reactions of others because imagine every time you spoke to someone new, you caught them off guard with your stutter. It's a shame that your family is reacting in a way you feel is improper. Perhaps you should confront them about it? Family is weird. I'm sure they care for you and mean well, you know, like when a loved one tells you to "speak slower." If only it was that simple right? Educate yourself, then them about stuttering and things will get better. Like the old saying goes, you can't pick family. Good luck and hang in there.
