That person can pack sand. I wanted to get into the Navy and into submarines. My stutter was picked up on the screenings and I had to go through extra scrutiny, but I made it. I actually had a such a good career in the Navy I was chosen to teach at the school house. Again, it was flagged, I narrowly passed the screening, but I did. I went on to get certified as a training specialist and even sailor of the quarter for my efforts. My point being do these things because you can. Live up to your own expectations. Don't accept anyone else tell you no.
