To reply to your link (which I saw before, I love the Oatmeal’s work). Maybe I’ve used the wrong words. I guess I meant content? Not utterly miserable, you know, not wanting to not exist? Happiness is fleeting. I meant “glad to be alive, to exist” as opposed to… not, because of my stutter. Which really was the case once. It’s just that when you had that utterly hopeless “this will never get better” feeling for most of your life and then it did, of course you would like to help people like yourself do the same… especially because outside of the internet it feels like there’s so few of us. I’ve always felt so alone in this.
