That's exactly what he needs. He should know stuttering is ok. It's just something he does, it doesnt define him. It'll only limit him if he lets it. Get him a diagnosis and if it looks like it's developmental stuttering, find a good therapist. I dont know how your son feels about stuttering or how comfortable he is, but I recommend going to an NSA conference. You'll learn more there and get more support there than you will anywhere else. There are hundreds of parents there who have already gone through what you're going through that you'll be able to talk to, not to mention some top notch therapists.
