Darn stammer caught me good at my repair shop today

Darn stammer caught me good at my repair shop today I was sitting there waiting for my car and the owner came in and wasnt very friendly like he usually is. So I figured Id ask him a breaking the ice question. "they're running you ragged today"? "What was that"? Boom I died, couldnt get the repeat out and then started to make this whump whump whump sound with my throat. Finally with a head turn to the left then down I got the words out and he heard me. Sadly the damage was done and I was crushed once again by my 40 year old stammer.
