For those whose stutter is caused predominantly by low or under-developed motor abilities to produce speech and not so much by psychological factors, the current state of speech therapy is a great start. The current therapy programs make it possible for us to develop our motor skills for speech to its fullest potential, which is good for everyone, not only those who stutter. TV presenters, public personas do such practice all the time. My view is that learning to sharpen any of skill does not harm, only good. However, if speech blocks are a big factor in a person's stutter, then the psychological causation is there. And yes, the video only addresses the psychological aspect. There are stutterers whose overall motor skills to produce speech is the predominant causation...and it did ignore that in the video, which is not correct. If speech blocks weren't present or weren't big factor in your speech (as a child or as an adult)...then there is no need to fix what is not there.
