I’ve tried wellbutrin and it was a horrible medication. It made me forget words and how to spell basic words. It was really bad. However, its dopamine agonist effect is often overstated. Sertraline (Zoloft) has a stronger DRI effect than even wellbutrin and is almost never talked about. Its even just labeled as an SSRI. One important thing to note is wellbutrin works as an antagonist at nicotonic receptors (hence, me having memory problems and unable to spell basic words). If smoking tobacco helps your stutter, than i would figure wellbutrin would have the opposite effect. It also gave me tactile hallucinations and anxiety. I hated that med with a passion.
