Neurofeedback is a specialized type of biofeedback. It’s an EEG where electrodes are placed on the scalp and using technology (music, movie, video game) you train your brain waves and they begin to work more in synch. It’s kind of hard to explain. So many videos on YouTube. It’s expensive and the research is still emerging on its success with stuttering. Mindfulness and meditation are less expensive options. All are time consuming. Just a suggestion for something to look into. I do not stutter, but I work with people with developmental disabilities and autism. I’m also a cancer survivor. I’ve been testing out neurofeedback on myself and a few people and we are seeing a greater sense of calmness and stress relief. Sleeping better. Less worry and ruminating thoughts
