Possible Phone Hack: Record certain words that you have problems with and play them back?

Possible Phone Hack: Record certain words that you have problems with and play them back? I know exactly which words/letters I have problems with and they often occur at the beginning of a phone call when I have to ask for that person. So I was thinking, what if I were to record that person's name (or even an introduction) and then play it when the call connects? Has anyone tried this before? And if so, what software do you use? And would you think holding the phone to a speaker would work or perhaps a headphone? Or maybe even a computer-based VoIP software where the sound file is directly played? Obviously I don't want it to sound too strange, but I think having it be momentary "off" would be better than me freezing on a word! I guess I'll have to test this out but if anyone has any advice or tips please pass them along.
