Has anyone tried hypnosis for stuttering

Has anyone tried hypnosis for stuttering I was wondering if anyone has tried hypnosis for their stuttering. A local hypnotherapist has advertised that hypnosis can be useful for stuttering. I’m very skeptical, so thought I’d ask the forum. Thanks!
