I'm starting to stutter and I'm scared I dont know if this is the right subreddit for this but I would just like to get this off my chest. I'm 20 years old, female, and I've noticed for the past year that I've been stammering and stuttering more and more. My dad has a pretty severe stutter but I never thought that I would ever be in this position myself. It happens a lot where I want to say something and articulate a thought but I end up stuttering and not knowing how to recover, so I stay quiet. I don't know if theres anything that I can do about this, and I'm scared. If I'm already struggeling with stammering and stuttering now will it just get worse the older I get? How do you guys cope with this? Any advice or nice words are appreciated
