Meeting Her Folks Help!! I’ve (23M) been seeing this girl (22F) for a few weeks now, and things are getting pretty serious. We’ve slept over at each other’s places and been made ‘official.’ I was really freaked out by that, because I know the ‘parent visit’ would be coming up. Anyway, she asks if it’s ok that we visit her folks place Sunday for church and lunch. I was really hesitant about it because of my stutter. Meeting new people (especially people I’m supposed to impress) is not my strong suit. She already told them about my stutter, which is ok I guess, but there’s going to be her parents and brothers and sisters and a fuck-load of other people there. I’m really anxious about it, and I know it’ll make me stutter more. Has anyone else been through the same type of thing before? Any advice??
