People like my close family, because I don't care if I stutter and I'm comfortable with them, that makes me not stutter at all. But people I'm trying to impress and trying especially hard not to stutter, I will stutter, it seems the harder I try the worse I get. Pro tip: Sometimes I purposely try to blank my mind before I respond to someone. It's weird, but when you reply to somebody without thought, you usually don't stutter, because your brain hasn't processed your own answer and dwelled on carefully prouncing it.
