The fact that I stutter myself changes the nuance here. My stutter may actually be worse than yours, yet I consciously make an effort to speak slowly. You may have taken my comment the wrong way — but can you really predict how every person would interpret it? And just because a reputable organisation says something, does that make it true in every single case, regardless of who is speaking or in what context? Does that really warrant blind faith? Bring your own opinions and experiences into this. That's what this space is for. And about insensitiveness — have you deeply considered how the people reading your comment might feel? If not, perhaps you're the one who needs to learn.
