I feel you so much, this is heartbreaking. I'm currently doing a Master's in **Data Science and AI**, and I had a similar humiliating experience. During a presentation with a new professor, I couldn't even say my own name. A guy in the back laughed and said: 'Did the professor affect you that much?'—it was so out of context, sexist, and degrading. Since then, I’ve been avoiding every presentation, pretending to go to the bathroom or taking fake calls just to escape. But reading your story (24 in the Navy! That's impressive), I realize we are strong people in high-level fields. We shouldn't let ignorant people define our worth because of a block. Your stutter doesn't take away your achievements in the Navy, and mine doesn't take away my skills in AI. We're in this together. Sending you so much strength!
