A guy in the back laughed and said: 'Did the professor affect you that much?'—it was so out of context, sexist, and degrading. Since then, I’ve been avoiding every presentation, pretending to go to the bathroom or taking fake calls just to escape. But reading your story (24 in the Navy! That's impressive), I realize we are strong people in high-level fields. We shouldn't let ignorant people define our worth because of a block.
