I have a joke that usually goes over well. There was once a young man/Woman who really wanted to go to sea, but he had a stutter and no one wanted to give him a chance. Eventually a kindly captain offered him a a job as a lookout on a small frigate. All he had to say "Land Ho!" He takes it. He is really good at it. But one day, while in the doldrums, he sees something. He starts to shout "SH...SH...SH... The men on deck try to decipher what he is saying but before he can get it out, theres a big SHIP bearing down on them Their boat is scuttled but all hands are rescued. The young men begs and pleads for another chance. The kindly captain gets a new boat and offers him the same job as a lookout. A few weeks later, he sees something... "SH...SH...SH... This time the deck hands are wise and all jump into the water to avoid being crushed by the oncoming ship. Then they hear: "SHARK...SHARKS!" That young man/woman was me and now I am here.... ​
