Yea. I stutter most around the people I assume dislike me stuttering. As a man, I find I stutter the least around women my age. It's weird. If they're flirty with me or I can tell their vibe with me is really "bantery" , I almost never stutter around them. Weird. Older women are the same, but I stutter slightly more because they're also similar to younger men in pointing stuff out and bringing up touchy subjects. Other men my age, i definitely stutter more because men are way more likely to point stuff out and are just less socially trained to not mention the elephant in the room. College educated, LGBT, and liberal men, I stutter way less around than blue collar and rather conservative men.
