Great advice/story, thanks for sharing. How do you incorporate meditation during a social situation? I practice meditation and it works out good with my speech if im talking to people Im comfortable around, or even if im just talking one on one (during a interview. But Ive become worse at speaking during group sessions (during PBL learning sessions for school (going over cases in groups)), and I find that I get lost into negative through loops around myself, which further increases anxiety, causing more stuttering. I find it hard to practice what ive learned during those circumstances. In other words, its hard to generalize what ive learned to those situations. Do you have any tips? Do you practice self compassion? Do you feel bad at all when you stutter? What kind of meditation do you do? Glad to hear that youve overcame it! Self control is a great accomplishment and it is something to be proud of!
