I ***completely*** understand how you're feeling! I was feeling confident in my speech, and I've had a good day so far, because of that I had decided to drop in to a restaurant close to where I was at while I was running errands and get a decent lunch. This one is a locally owned Chipotle style restaurant where you order at the counter and pick and choose what toppings you want, etc. When I finally get to the counter I flat out couldn't speak more than a few words, I just ended up pointing and getting whatever I could try and say. I ended up getting a pretty nasty meal and didn't eat a lot of it. It is what it is, and I keep reminding myself to not beat myself up too bad about this. We need to keep our head high. We all understand in this subreddit and I love that we're all so supportive and understanding.
