She's in therapy in school and private therapy. Sometimes I feel she hasn't found the right match/therapist with private therapy. As her parents, we want to give her every resource/opportunity to help her. We always let her finish what she is saying to us, never finishing her sentences for her. Only recently I have stuttered when talking to her to see if she hears it. I'm not sure if she hears herself stuttering or what it might sound like to others...never to shame her. Her stuttering doesn't keep her from playing with friends, taking art class, summer camps, Girl Scouts. We encourage her to participate in any activities she's interested in. Thank you for the webpage. I will take a look at their resources.
