Man, I'm the exact opposite. I sometimes go through a sentence and stutter on each word, and it's a really aggressive, physical-tic type of stutter as well. =/ Have you tried doing an intentional light stutter more often than you would otherwise stutter? Just a few fairly slow repetitions of the same sound at the beginning of a word to decrease the tension in your speech. I've had it recommended to me a few times by speech therapists, but it never really did any good for me. For you, though, it sounds like it might not only do some good, but also have the side effect of making the people around you more comfortable with your actual stutter.
