Please don't think how you're feeling now is how you'll always feel in the future. I think there are a couple strategies to start but these aren't the only ones so don't give up. First, I would consider posting in the Reddit group for your university and sharing something similar. People may reach out to you and be willing to meet up and form connections. Also, since you'll already have disclosed your stutter and your challenges expressing yourself, it may not be quite as nerve-wracking to meet with people who already know that and are just willing to form a genuine connection. It may not seem like it, but there are people who have friends but are open to making new ones and also people who are struggling like you and looking for their own friendships and connections. Try to form a study group for your classes. I know this may be difficult but it's a good way to meet people and can also help you with your academics. It may not feel this way, but there are people who also may be struggling academically who want some help. You may just form a connection beyond the classroom. I would also reach out to people who can help you at your school. Do they have any support services, academically and socially? They may have resources to support you academically and potentially suggestions for support socially. Does your school have clubs? Maybe you can start your own for people who are struggling with meeting friends. You're not the only one. You could have activities planned that you all do together like movie night, game night, etc. You may be helping yourself and other too. I think you also need to seek counseling. Your depression is holding you back and negatively impacting your life. It's not your fault and there are people who can help you. You may even need to see a doctor who can assess whether you need medication for anxiety or depression. Whatever you do, don't give up. It isn't easy right now but you have the potential to have a happy future. It's just hard to see in the moment. You are worth it and the right people will see that. Take good care of yourself.
