That is really awesome! You chose to do it because its what you're passionate about. You accepted the fact that you stutter and you do what you love. Is it hard sometimes? Probably, but you'll look back in life and be happy you never let it stop you. In terms of getting pass the blocks, I think ShutupPussy, hahahahaha, is right. Developing a secondary behavior is extremely hard to break and it is like another layer on the stuttering. My secondary behavior was either switching the word I wanted to say with a synonym right before (fucked me over on proper nouns) or I just pause and look at the person saying "um". Now I just have to let myself stutter, and fluency has risen from that. Im surprised you havent self disclosed to your class already, I find it always eases me and the crowd before teaching or presenting. Then if you do stutter, everyone doesnt have weird questions or theories as to whats happening. It would be really great educating high schoolers about this too. You might have a covert stutterer in your class that hides it and is ashamed of it.
