Life with this stutter is even more difficult when ppl who are supposed to support you in your upbringing have such strict expectations for you. Like damn, you’re human too. Is your visible guilt and embarrassment not enough? must they add onto it by putting you down? It always surprises me when other adults aren’t as empathetic to others discomfort.
