I understand that you're pissed. I'm fucking pissed off also. My parents never stuttered so I cannot blame them for my stuttering. I think that stutterers shouldn't breed. If they want children then they should adopt. I cannot imagine having a child with a stutter. Knowing he/she would experience all the anxiety, stress, and embarrassment I suffered all through school. I cannot subject my child to that. It'll make me feel guilty that I am responsible for their suffering. I've seen stutterers on reddit and other forums saying that if their children stutters then big deal, they'd have me to talk to. I think those people are fucking idiots. People handle stuttering differently. Just because they're okay with their handicap doesn't mean other people will be. Will they be with their child when he/she is being bullied in school? Will they be there when they have a tough time doing job interviews? Will they be there when their child is giving presentations at school? No, they won't be. When the kid's self esteem hits rock bottom what will their advice be? Probably something ineffective and stupid like "don't care! own your stutter!". The kid experiences the world outside of the home. And the parents will be the only ones to blame for their suffering. People with inferior genetics(stuttering) shouldn't breed. Period.
