I only met people who stuttered a month or so ago. For the first time ever. It was an interesting feeling -- as others have said "oh, that's what I sound like." The strangest thing for me at the NSA conference was NOT having people finish my sentences. I was wondering why I was stuttering more than usual. Or why things were taking longer than usual. I guess I would wonder if everybody who stutters is just used to having friends finish things or guess. It happens all the time, so I just ignore it (or it triggers the word to finally come out.)
