quick question. how much is tonsil of a factor?

quick question. how much is tonsil of a factor? so my right tonsil recurred two years ago. I couldn't get it removed cause it's so damn expensive here. I was just wondering if someone had a similar experience, and came to conclusion that tonsil was a big hindrance.
