I need any advice from yall

I need any advice from yall I have stutter and my aunt's son also he is 14y and he will start high school in 4 months, he stutters but with family members he doesn't have much, he has it kind of hidden, and I know that high school will be hell for him and I don’t want he to through what I went through, I've been thinking of telling his mother to send him to a speech therapist but I'm afraid I'll make his stutter worse, as it happens in many cases, I need any of your opinions or advice, PLEASE
