Anyone else hate introducing themselves?
Content
Anyone else hate introducing themselves? i’m new to this subreddit and reddit itself for so please bare with me :)) i’ve been stuttering since age three and it’s been on and off. right now it’s neutral but i feel like i’m stutter more than usual. i stutter the worst on consonants mostly (like B, P, R, S, T, etc.) and unfortunately my name starts with a T so introducing myself sucks bc when i stutter i tend to drag out the first syllable of words. i’ve had to repeat myself so many times and sometimes i just wish my name started with a vowel since it’s easier for me. i also sometimes use filler words such as uh or um which always raises the typical stupid question “did you forget your own name????”
